is the antenea booster in a 2003 a4 the same as in a VW passat? in the same location (above rear window)

 

it is in the same location yes-not sure if the part # is the same though

 

Just adding its not in the same place...doesn't even look as if there is on on vw

Just spent an hour tracing all the wires in the junkyard

 

everything i've found tells me it should be in under the headliner in the rear center of the car. id be interested to see where yours turns up.

do you have a satellite radio equipped model? i have no idea if this would change the location
