I have to get some new rubber soon and I been thinking of painting or powder coating the stock 17s black. Has anyone seen this done or has a black B6 with this done? I saw a silver one with the wheels black and it looks nice but i kinda wanna see what the black on black looks like. Please post any pics if ya have em.

That looks pretty amazing, not gonna lie. How does the dip hold up? I used it on my old truck and it was ok but never tried it on wheels.

 

While looking around on craigslist for a friend, I came across this A4 black with black stock 17s

 

Well the stockers didnt see to much use. But the dip is still on. MY wheels in my sig have been diped with pearlizer and they are used daily. Been about 5 months now no problems.

 

I've got an '03 that's Dolphin Gray w/ powdercoated gloss black stock 17's. Don't have any pictures right this second, but will post some this weekend.

How much was it to powercoat the set?

 

$300 to do all 4. That included sandblasting to remove the stock finish.
