Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has an opinion on either the APR or Magnaflow exhaust for my 2005 1.8T?

Im looking for a nice mean sounding rumble, not a riceish sound. Ive heard the clips on youtube and ive narrowed it down to these two. Just want to see what you guys think?

A lot of people does the magnaflow 14851s I think with the custom piping.

 

if you simply do 14851 mufflers and custom piping, make sure to put in resonators, else you'll get drone. on a side note, i will be getting a 16600 system with 034HFC and custom downpipe soon. i will post up once its finished

 

Definately use a resonator with a magnaflow muffler, they are the worst when it comes to drone when left by itself.

Ill post a video once i get it installed. I also have a high flow cat coming tomorrow from 034, and will be doing a stage 1+ Revo in the next 2 weeks......But first i have to fix a small oil leak at the rear of the engine and figure out why my cel is coming up...Im getting code PO 171. Ive read what others problems with that have been but now i just need to figure out what it is on mine.
