Hello, I have an '03 1.8t Q and I am contemplating upgrading to APR stage 1+. First question is, is the 1+ software any different or is the "+" simply the injector. Also, is the claimed 235 HP with the injects or from the software alone.
FINALLY, are the only injects that will work the TT injectors?

The + is different software, with the injectors. If you load just the stage 1, the 1+ can be upgraded for free. The HP/TQ numbers are for both the software, and injectors. The injectors APR sells are ones designed by them, but one of their sales reps told me that early style TT injectors would work.

 

The reflash is not always free. It depends on the shop, if they do charge most likely 1/2 hour labor cost. TT injectors works, as long as they are from the 225HP TT model. As for the 1+, it slightly smoother on hills not much more power.
