Audi Maintenance History
Hello all, I'm in the process of buying my first Audi. I have been told by numerous people to ensure the car has a full maintenance history. How would I go about finding the history? I have heard that you can call an Audi dealer, give them the VIN of a car, and they can give you as much of the maintenance history as they know. Has anyone done this before? Will they charge me for looking up the history? The only other thing I know to do is order a Carfax, are there any other ways of finding its history. Thanks Guys
Some info we need: What miles are on the car...what is the car (A4, A5, etc), what engine, what trans, what trim model, quattro or not?
Check documentation on regularly intervaled oil changes + oil filter, see if the car was brought in on audis service intervals (look in car manual...there should be a matience catalog), make sure the car always had premium gas put in it (regular gas DOES work, but fks things up after awhile). That's all that i can give...some things are more vehicle specific.
As far as calling the dealer goes, i think the only dealership that will have the service records is the one that it was brought to...?

It's a B6 Audi A4 3.0 V6 6-Speed Quattro with about 81,000 miles on it.
