B6 or B7?
Hello:
I think I have a B6 but I might have a B7. After reading all the newbie stuff on this site, I decided that my question is not covered. All the info on the forums state "all A4's year..." There is no specific area addressing cabriolets, which I heard were different.
Anyway, I have a 2005 A4 Cabriolet quattro 3.0L V6, and I found the manufacture date of 9/2004. Do I have a B6?
Thanks.

If Wikipedia can be trusted, the 3.0 V6 was not available in the B7, having been replaced by the 3.2. That would indicate that you've got a B6. Of course, you could always look at the pics in the wikipedia article; there are significant visual differences between the B6 and B7 which should make it readily apparent which one you have.
