does anyone run the chip and injectors with an automatic trans and if yes how long have you been driving with it. i have 65000 miles on my 04 a4 1.8t and want to mod it but dont want to break my car.

 

By auto do you mean Tiptronic or CVT?

 

its a triptronic auto gearbox

Hi, i know its an old thread, but i'm contemplating on getting a '05 B6 1.8T estate with multitronic CVT transmission. Would I able to go the chip + injector upgrade?

 

Stay the fock away from CVT's especially if you want to mod it.

 

to answer your question:
yes, of course u gonna be able to GET ANYTHING what available for an a4. But, will the CVT trans hold it?
a lot of people complaint about CVT trans cuz it brakes a lot when u start adding more HPs.
u should be about fine with stg 1+, i would say right on a border of being fine ))
But anything more might bring you a LOT of problems
