oh man, mods out the ***. ATP GT3071R Kit, Eurospec 2.0L smallblock, 3 inch downpipe, AWE exhaust, Spec stage 3+ clutch, mika fueling kit, walbro fuel pump, bailey DV. Lets just say i have invested a TON of money into this car. Anyway, so I go to my guy today and they checked the codes, and there were like 15 bad codes that popped up from a misfire in one of the cylinders(could be a bad coilpack) to a MAF warning code which is not uncommon from what i hear. Either way, they erased all the codes and my check engine went off!! I hadnt see that off in like two years..haha. It was kinda fun. Nonetheless the problem is not solved. Im going to go ahead and have my MBC installed and bypass the N75 Valve. Any thoughts on if this is a good idea?
haha well that changes everything. yes installing a mbc and bypassing the n75 will be fine. get the unos mbc from forge, its a great mbc. like cincytt said ditch mika (ya i said it) and some new injectors.

ya mika sucks for sure no question but I didnt think I could run revo software with my kit. I'll have to call atp to find out. Couple questions im confused about...why would 18psi be the most I could run? and what is unos? Do you have any links to for these??

because forge makes a great product. its a manual boost controler (mbc). if you go with another company make sure you get a 2 prong mbc not the 3.
here is the unos

Whats up man? Youre the guy I talked to at MAG the other day when you picked up your car, right? I meant to tell you that the Forge mbc that ECS sells sucks. I actuallytold the technician to tell you that it wouldnt work right when he was installing it. You shoulda seen the crowd your cargenerated at work [&:]. First things first, get rid of the mika and get some REVO and go from there.

the problem with the mbc you have is that it has only a soft spring, thus 18-19psi tops. I personally love turboxs. Never had a problem and can boost to about 40psi.

onepoint whats up? Well I talked to Jason at Mag since hes my hookup basically and they couldnt get the car to boost right after erasing the codes yesterday. He told me to come by tomorrow which i will but I will tell him not to install the mbc from ecs. ya I will get some revo software i found at eurocode to run with my GT3071R. Sucks that its 700 bucks but oh well. Do you think that will solve this problem? I dont even know if its in limp mode. Nothing has worked so far. I guess I'll just have to keep drivin it around at 4 psi until you boys at MAG can figure it out!!!! God this car is a hassel beyond belief!! But its so damn fun to drive when everything is running right!!

shoot, i've got a real problem here. Do I buy a uno mbc and override the N75J valve or do I buy the revo software to take the place of the mika software which i believe is the main problem in this case. Ithink thatunos mbc will workWill surging occur if I bypass the N75? I have like 15 fault codes that are occuring right now. Is this all from Mika software???

if you were to do one thing, get rid of mika. Once you get it running, then worry about how much psi you are running.
