Default A/C intermittent

I replaced my battery the other day and driving home noticed my blower wasn’t working. I’m not sure if replacing the batter had anything to do with this. Then I started it up and the ac was blowing. I’ve gone a week now and it’s 50/50 sometimes it blows when I start sometimes it doesn’t. This doesn’t matter whether I have it set hot or cold. Where should I start?

sorry i thought you had said that at some point the A/C was blowing... so is it the blower itself that's intermittent or the switching from hot to cold?

the blower motor is very close to the battery... wonder if you disturbed something there...?

getting to the top of the motor is quick and easy, but I just don't remember any wiring or connections to be honest.

I do know that the bottom of the motor is really easy to see/check when you take the glovebox out - I took mine out in around 20 minutes last week its just a case of removing 8 or 9 bolts. Once out you can see all the servo motors and see any sticking, I think the blower has a servo motor as well - that could be sticking which is why I originally mentioned it.

here's a link with some good photos for you:-

https://www.pelicanparts.com/techart...d_Resistor.htm

and this is the servo motor i mentioned on the blower:

blue arrow showing servo motor location. ignore the red arrows....

picture is from pelican auto parts - contained in their link above.
