Car Weight

I went to a truck scale and my car is 3680 pounds
2002 1.8T quattro tiptronic sport package with 3/4 of a tank of gas
stock 17inch sport wheels
this is with full 17in' sport spare and everything

Seems light, but its a 1.8, not a 3.0 so that ought to account for maybe 100lb.

Were you in it too?

yeah that seems a little light for these cars.did you put yours on a diet?

i wasnt in the car, the car was stock wit full interor and spare
it seems like the right weight for the car

Sounds about right since a Tip is going to be a little heavier then a manual and the B6 is a bit heavier then the B5 1.8tq manual which is around 3200 lbs.
