Default Carbon Fiber Engine Cover

Anyone know where I can get one for a b6 18t? I saw one on APR but when I went to order through namotorsports they told me they dont make them anymore. Im looking to dress up my engine bay and I think that would be a good start. Thanks!

DHT or carbino.
DHT makes a drivers side cover also (http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...ighlight=cover)
link to their site: http://shop.dthaus.com/category.sc?categoryId=3

normally i find allot more of what i'm looking for over on audizine, not to bash audiforums at all.

i believe esctuning.com has a cf engine cover. you can also buy the carbino intake with it and get a discount. im not fan of dth cover, the esctuning one is basically just like oem one. the dth doesnt cover as much.

Our cover is meant to keep heat from getting to the coil packs from the exhaust/turbo but still allow some air to flow around the coil packs so they dont over heat. The stock cover traps heat between it and the valve cover which means there is no way for air flow to get to the coil packs.

We know its not for everyone.

Till the end of the year. The CF coil cover fits any 1.8t, but the CF engine bay cover is only for the B6/B7 8E cars. I have a OEM Euro set for the B5 that I still need to modify so we can make a CF version.

Thumbs up to anything from Mike and DTH. Their parts have functionality. If the ECS one is the one I think it is, it will kill your coilpacks from the heat. If it isn't ventilated above the coilpacks you're asking for trouble. The Carbonio had slits cut in; the ECS I saw, unless they have changed it, does not. Which is cool if you're just swapping it for a show or something, but I wouldn't use it driving.

It cant be any worse than the stock one correct? It figures once I purchase one, I get the feedback I was looking for...hahaha...oh well. Ill let you guys know how it is once I get it. Should be here in the next couple days. If I went with the couple pack cover Mike, that would help the packs also right?
