Looks pretty.

Is that worth $379 to you?

If you do not have larger turbo, which means larger or no MAF and large diameter turbo inlet pipe, then it's worthless.
Dyno sheets have proven that the stock airbox is the best for stock applications. Unlike other cars, a new intake does nothing but generate good sound on a B6. The Carbonio, however, is one of the few that didn't DECREASE HP on testing. But you will only think you have gains because, A. You spent an arm and a leg for it, and 2. It sound like you're faster.
If you plan to go big turbo, then it's a great intake. If you are staying stock, don't waste your money on this or any intake.
And don't pay $379. They can be found cheaper on occasion.

Just do a drop in K&N filter. But sure does look pretty. Heck if you got the $, go ahead stimulate the economy.

Default not worth it!!!!

almost all cairintakes are not worth it for this car although it looks very nice do not be fooled. the heashield on the right side where the turbo and test pipe sit below has holes in it to accommdate wiring and pipes this is where alot of hot air ....alot......is being sucked in for the test pipe

^^^ Not entirely true. There is enough air coming in from the fender vent and from the stock snorkel that nothing is being "sucked" from anywhere. How do you determine this?
I used liberal amounts of heat reflector on mine, and the whole underside of the stock snorkel, and of course all my hotside of block is coated and wrapped.
My IAT are beautiful. And the interior walls of the intake are cool to the touch even after hard running.
Carbonio is a good intake, but useless for small turbo applications. And certainly not worth retail cost.
