So my check engine light came on, code P0170 System too lean (Bank 1). I checked all of the vaccum hoses and what not, found nothing wrong, and the car is still running exactly the same. I went ahead and cleared the code to see if it would come back on, and it has not. Most likely is nothing wrong? Or does it take longer than a day for the check engine light to come back on? Should I not have cleared it?

 

If you cleared the light with vag com the code can came back on with the light still off. after some miles are put back on, ie 15 plus check it again. as for what caused it i have no idea i have the same lean code on a bank and am waiting to check it again
