Center armrest on 2004 3.0 v6 is wacky. Locks in the complete upright position but not at any right angles. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

 

That's not normal? My '02 is the same way IIRC, though I barely notice because I keep it vertical almost all the time anyway - it gets in the way of my elbow when shifting (if it's horizontal), and my car being a manual trans, that's pretty annoying.

 

well after some well placed anger, I found if you push the unit to the right then it seems to lock in place(smh)

 

Is probably broken. Is a common thing with our cars. I just use mine for long trips because, as previously stated, it gets in the way of shifting.

 

i was gunna say be glad yours is still in place. Mine falls out when i open it.
