Chip or drop
I need opinions as to what direction i should go for summer. I have cash in hand and am not sure as to drop my car or to chip it. I know the 1.8 engine wont ever be as fast as i truly want it but a little umph wouldnt hurt much but then again droppping the car looks so nice. feel free to weigh in the subject. For those who have drops or chips give me pro's and con's to either please.

The best thing I did for my A4 was to APR chip it. Well worth the money!!!! Still get great gas mileage, as long as I keep my foot out of it.
Only con for the chip is when you turn it on/off, it takes like 40-50 miles to really "learn/kick in"... Which means...don't let your wife/girlfriend drive it for long periods of time.
To drop it...... would look great but I think you will have a better time with the chip

I'd say it depends on what your future plans for the car are. If you're itching to put a big turbo on it later, I'd say do the suspension, wheels & brakes now, that way they're ready when you get that big power upgrade later. If that type of thing is not what you want to do, then a stage 1 or stage 1+ sure sounds like a nice upgrade from stock.
Unless you have a bunch of twisty roads to drive, though, the chip will be the more immediately noticeable upgrade.
