Have a 2004 A4 1.8T CVT Just the other day, when starting car cold, there was a series of loud chirping, snapping, sharp sounds from front of engine. Looking at it later, I noticed the serpentein belt tension jerk sharply left to right in relation to the noise. Based on the threads I've read, is this the cause, or is it another item failing and the tensioner just absorbing the drag? Thanks
