Coil Pack Fire!!!! Help
I had the check engine light start flashing and I wasn't far from home so I decided to try limp home when I pulled into my gargage and popped the hood a bunch of smoke poured out and I noticed the coil pack was on fire. I blew it out and it basically melted the connector and the top of the coilpack. I was able to find the connector but it doesn't come with the wires...Does anyone know where I can get this part, I already ordered the coilpack. This SUX big time...Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, and its an 2002 3.0 Q.
I think I might be able to salvage the wires if I can get them out of the terminal. I looked on ECS tuning and they have the terminal removal tool but the set is like 80 bucks. I really only need the specific one to remove the wires, does any one know which is the appropriate one I need. I am hoping once I pull the wires I can just plug them into the new terminal and call it a day...Thanks All
