Arrow Coil Woes

Hello Bro's

So I have read all of the various ignition coil woes, thinking I was lucky. Now I have experienced the dreaded coil failure. I still consider myself lucky as I was on 74k miles when they finally failed. But they failed none the less. It was a brisk 20 degrees out. I was driving normally to work, when I felt a slip, almost like my car sneezed or I hit a small patch of ice, though I did not see the traction control light flash. The sneezing got worse on the way to work. By the time I was in works lot, the engine light was flashing and the car was idling like total garbage. Luckily I had my fiance there and she took the car 1 mile back to the house. After doing research I found out that my car, 2002 a4 1.8T was under the recall. I called the dealer, gave my vin and they confirmed that. The dealership paid for towing, a loaner car, and has agreed to cover the repair. The only thing I am worried about is that they will try to feel me the Mass airflow sensor bull s***, or something else. The service tech tried to mention that when I called him, but I was not buying it. Soound like coils? Thanks.

J
