Default coolant leak

I have a coolant leak on the passanger side of the engine. It looks it coming from the top of the engine, but I can't tell where it is coming from. Anyone have any ideas?

The supercharger is leaking out of the liquid to air intercooler. Get a new heat exanger and you should be good.I would also do a throttle body alighnment while your in there.

Oh wait what year, make, model, engine size and mods might help.

[:@]Sorry my A-4 is a 2002 with a 1.8T.With 85,000 miles.org. water pump and timing belt. Have only replace the battery, rear, breaks, plugs, vacum hose and tires. I do my own servece work.I checked futher and it looks like it is coming from the middle of the eng.. real close to the fire wall. coolant is dripping down the passanger side of engine. It appears to be a small leak. I loose about a 1/2 of coolant from res.every 200 miles.

Check your water pumps. I have a slow leak too and Audi tol dme it was coming from my secondary water pump. Im getting my timing belt done next week and when you normally do that you should also do the water pump and tensioner. If you are at 85000 miles with orig timing belt and water pump do it SOON. Im at 83000 and I drive around with crossed fingers it wont go out b4 next week. If the leak is indeed coming from the water pump no worries b/c when you get the belt done it will be replaced and teh leak will be dead. If its not from the water pump then sorry but still do you belt soon

i had the same problem it was coming from right behind the top of the engine... (if thats where your talkign about) . all it is is a Flange on the back of the engine. There is a blue sensor and 2 pipes that run to it. You can get the part from audi or vw for like $30 ... make sure you get it with both O-Rings... If you need more help if this you think is the problem email me at SouRceB5@gmail.com

I have the same leak coming from thethe top of my engine on my '03 A62.7T.My repair shop also diagnosed it as a leakingauxilliary water pump. This pump is located on the top of the engine in the V. The part itself is not very expensive, but I was told by the shop that youhave to remove your air intake runners to get to the aux. water pump. Has anyone replaced thispump, and if so, do you have to remove your intake runners?

I was looking over my engine this morning and it shouldn't be too difficult to removethe runners themselves, butthe entire fuel injector setup is attached to them and it looks like a lot of work to remove all of that. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
