Default cross country drive prep

Hey all, I'll be doing the cross country drive from NYC to LA, about 3,000 miles probably 5 days of driving with detours and stops . Wanted to see what preparation I should do for the drive. I don't have any trouble codes (knock on wood.) I just put on new tires and the Bosch Aeroblade wiper system. I have a 2002 A4 Avant Quattro 3.0 V6 with 72,000mi. I have not done the timing belt yet, but I hear that's due at 80k.
Any parts and service recommendations/advice before I go?

Also, I'll have the back seat folded down with a lot of stuff on it, I noticed the seatbelt latches kind of poke into the seat backs and stretch the leather, anyone found a good way to protect the seats from this?
Thanks

Get a couple of spare coilpacks, and I would seriously consider doing the timing belt before you go. Also, oil change and balance and rotate the tires.
