CV Joint / Boot Replacement question
I have a 2002 A4 3.0 6 speed Quattro
I am replacing the front left inner cv boot. I removed the axle and removed the c clip from the trans side of the axle shaft. The cv joint will not slide off the end of the axle. Does anyone know if these are pressed on? Do I need to get this pressed off to get the new boot on? or is this just really snug and can be tapped off.
Thanks for your help !

...just so everyone knows...
the inner cv joint is pressed on, you need to have it pressed off when changing the boot.
I just removed my axle (very easy job) and took it into the dealer and let them put the new boot on. 1/2 hour labor
