did the DIY black headlights

Default did the DIY black headlights

came out alright, have to reseal them again because some moisture got inside..

nice! u shoulda clear cornered it while u were in there.

heh im not sure how to clear the orange though. ill have to redo it sometime because its not sealing properly

u just drill out those tabs and seal the hole with silicone if u open the headlights. I did it the hard way. I had to slide those tabs out from under the bulb holders. Very time consuming. oh yeah they pop out on their own i thought you ment remove the orange from the plastic thing its self, like clearing red/orange tails.

i think that is what i mean. U take the orange amber reflector completly out. Its euro spec.

how did you get the headlights open i tried to do mine last night and no budge with a heat gun

i followed this. and trust me it takes a long *** time to get it out. also once is separated, scrape out the old sealant as much as possible. this will make fitting it back together much easier and smoother.

Sorry I double posted I was tired when I asked that question and thank u this is definitely the write up I was looking for .... Why didnt he paint the inner part of the projecter shroud does it actually reflect light ?
