So im back unfortunately and I'll try and contact some guru's on here with some questions about this.

I have had my father back up into my drivers door awesome before this how ever the window would never go up and down and nor would the other windows via there own switches as in the passenger side window would not go up and down via the passenger switch only the main switch on the driver door this happened on all the windows except the drivers window which did not go up and down at all.

Now I was in the process of replacing the master switch but then this happend there's a huge indent in the door and I could hear rattling of the things that probably pull the window up and down I assume they are broken.

Basically the door is f***** I went out to a junkyard and managed to obtain a b6 door for a black audi awesome I can repaint but they say it works but I'll be the judge of that as the window was down and the door was kind of dirty.

Now my questions

Obviously the key lock is not the same and I dont have the key how hard is it to replace the key lock on my old damaged door to the one from the junkyard and what would I need to do?

The alarm is my next concern is the alarm located in the door? or hopefully can I just plug and play the door from the junkyard and still use my key from it and it would lock/unlock that would be freaking amazing and then I could pass inspection.

The next questions I'll hold based on my response so I can fine tune what I need to do here. This forum was very helpful a long time ago I hope it can be helpful again :P

The door I got from the junkyard is the black one ready to go I can repaint and replace the panels later also there is an extra set of buttons on the bottom I have no Idea what they are.

The grey door that's damaged is still on my car, you can see the damage on the outside its a pretty good hit and well the drivers window does not go down before the accident and I'm pretty sure it wont go down now after.

Alarm has nothing to do with your door.

These are for the Memory function. It will remember your side view mirror, seat and steering wheel position. Should not cause an issue being there it just will not work.
