So the other day I am putting up my sun visor and craaack, the joint breaks. Now the visor just hangs down and will not go up in either direction. So I took it in to the shop and they said the whole thing has to be replaced and because it has the home link system it is a $300 part! Anyone else run into this? I trust these guys and told them to go ahead and order the part and do it because I cannot live with this broken but damn, that seems outrageously expensive.
