Default ecu reset

Does anyone know how to reset the ecu on an 03 audi a4? My brake light out warning continously comes on when its working fine. I tried disconnecting the battery but no luck.
Any suggestions?

You have a problem with the bulb or wiring.. try tracing that out first.

But that would trigger the brake pad warning...not the brake light indicator. I would make sure that the sockets of all the brake lights are clean.

Default Brake light

It has nothing to do with brakes, this happened before i changed the brakes. The wiring connections seem ok.
