Default Engine Code PO305

My 02 A4 3.0 Quattro started shaking while driving, loss of power, sputtering and CEL blinking. I just had my car checked at Autozone and the code read PO305 Cylinder misfire detected-Cylinder number 5. I've been reading some other posts about the same conditions and was wondering if it is safe to replace the coil for my number 5 cylinder. Any ideas of thoughts??

Yeah....I had the same problem, but Cylinder 3. Mine was actually under warranty still so Audi did it, only took like 20 minutes. But it could also be the spark plug...but mine was the coil pack.

what i would do..... is take cyl 5 coil off, and switch it to cyl 1..... if the miss moves to cyl 1 then you know it is that coil..... if it stays at 5 then try moving the plug....... then if it stays i can't help...but if it moves when you move the plug it is that
