EPC and MIL lights on
FYI...
2004 Audi A4 1.8T with 108k miles
PROBLEM: Recently had my EPC (electronic power control) and MIL lights come on. Engine would idle at 1200 RPM, sometimes it would take a few tries to start, automatic transmission would have trouble shifting gears.
SOLUTION: Faulty speed sensor ($100 at Audi dealer) and about an hour of my time to replace.
Had a friend reset the computer and all is well.
Hope this is of some help to anyone that might encounter the same issue.
