Unhappy Error Messages With Headlights

The past few days when I go to turn on my headlights, the ABS, E-Brake, and ESP lights will flash and I get an error beep from the dash. I installed HID lights in my car over a year ago and I've never had a problem like this before. I have to shut the car off, restart and then the ESP light usually stays on for a little while. Why would this only happen the second I turn on my headlights? Could anybody help me with this? Does the computer need to be reset or what? Thanks.

Do you have a vag com? It would be best to retrieve the fault codes from the headlamp module as well as the brakes to see if you have a cross short or something. It may also have something to do with the HID's you put in, might have rubbed against each other to the point of the wires are being exposed.

its probably due to ur hid ballast location. Sometimes if its to close to the abs module it can throw a christmas tree. ( all the lights on at once) Mine has done it a few times in the past few years. Either relocate or live with it.
