ESP light stays on after fixing cigarette lighter
Hi everyone,
Please forgive me for I am new to the forum.
I have a 2003 A4 3.0 Quattro. My cigarette lighter stopped working after a penny fell through it. I replaced the blown fuse, which fixed the cigarette lighter. But out of nowhere, the ESP light came on and stays on everytime I turn the car on. I checked other fuses throughout the box and they look fine. I think I notice a 'stutter' when braking since the ESP light came on, but it only happens intermittently. I also sometimes smell a 'burnt metal' odor in the dashboard (near the fuse box). Does anyone have any ideas? Anything would be greatly appreciated!
