Default Exhaust & brakes

Hey guys,

I need new brakes and exhaust (from the turbo out) for my '02 A4 1.8T Quattro. Been looking online, but there are so many brands and choices.

I'm thinking Borla exhaust, but I need cat and all, and preferrably a bigger downpipe since I'm doing the job anyway.

I need good brakes that'll fit inside my factory 17" rims, prefferably just rotors and pads to use with my stock calipers.

Can you give me some suggestions for where to get performance exhaust and good brakes at good prices?

Thanks,

Matt

I'm down the same alley on brakes, I just need OEM replacement brakes but everything I find is "upgrades" or "racing" type brakes. I found this site for the brakes:

I bought brembo rotors for my A4 and I'm glad I did that. They works better than oem's and they are cheaper. I bought drilled rotors for front for 180$.

I was not sure what pads to buy so I bought OEM's.

There is many brands of exhaust. U should decide by yourself which one do u want. There is many videos on youtube with different brand of exhaust.

Hi
I have an a6 2000 2.7t. I would tell you to look at these. I am running them with stainless lines. kvrperformance.com (800-636-0854) or Powerstop.com (888-863-4415).

Ended up buying slotted front rotors and ceramic pads from Brake Performance. Only been a couple of weeks, but so far so good. They stop my car quite well, good price and nice warranty.

I have Hawk Pads, I got all four for about 150 shipped from TireRack.com, got 'em installed for 150 at my local mech - I am very happy with them, as they are a marked improvement from the stock setup.
