Default Fog lights now turn on when unlocking car

Hello. I recently had my car serviced at an independent shop and now when I unlock my car using the fob my foglights come on in addition to the parking lights flashing and the interior lights coming on.

They also turn on when I turn the car off and get out of the car. I thought I figured out that it was the little switch/dial below the headlight switch but now its proving me wrong.

Any help appreciated. Is this a controllable setting or not? My car was in the shop for headlight bulb replacement and an igniter.

Thanks

The switch by the headlight switch should control that.

That would be a really cool feature. Wish my 02 did that. Anyone know if this can be programmeg into a 3.0 with a VAGCom?

Do you know the procedure for this by chance?? and can it be done without having the actual switch?

^^ Same question. My car has manual headlights and the fog light switch is integrated in the headlight switch. They cannot be manually turned on unless the low beams are on as well.
