Default Forge Splitter DV valve? Any suggestions?

Alright so I've been wanting to get a diverter valve for some while now... Just trying to convince the wife into buying one and getting the money... (I know 100 bucks is pretty pathetic being expensive.) So my buddy has a Forge "Splitter" type one? Any suggestions or input? I want a little more noise out of the car and turbo and hoping this will give me a little. Along with intake eventually... Is this a good valve or why does everyone have the 007?

i dont have a B6 but i have a Forge Splitter, and it is a great valve. it works just as good as any other forge DV but the Blow off sound adds a nice touch, my only recommendation would be to grease it when you get it, mine was bone dry when i got mine.. i paid around 170$ from http://www.namotorsports.net/detail....t_cd/FMDVSPLTR i got a video too, well its a video but it was taken at night so theres no video just sound.

Aiit sweet. Ya he's giving it to me for about 90 bucks. Its barely used. He went with a more blow off type one. So one last thing... Is it ok for the engine? Cuz I know that it has to recirculate the air. I suppose its still doing this but just giving out a sound??

yea you can choose how much to be atmospheric by twisting the top to tighten the spring inside, the tighter u have it the less "blow off" and more recirculation it takes a little tweaking, and its easy to adjust after its on the car. i adjusted mine after i greased it. once i had mine installed i took it for a spin with the skid plate still off so i can just get under my car and give it a few clicks to the spot i liked best. now that my car is boosting more psi that reminds me i need to tighten mine down now the sound is really loud
