Seen a few B6's lately with center of bumper blacked out. Can never tell if its painted, vinyl, or a clip on plastic piece. Gives it a nice updated touch that harkens to the newer fish mouth style. Anyone have info? Thanks

I'd use vinyl. I'm experimenting with the 3M carbon vinyl. Did the center console around the shifter and came out pretty good. Just ordered some more to cover the door and dash trim plus the black trim at the B pillar. This stuff is very cool, but it takes some practice.
