Why is it so hard to find parts at the store. I go to Auto Zone to get a fuel filter and every # that comes up is wrong. Do I have to get it at the dealership>>>? I have an 04 A4 quattro with a 3.0L, it looks like it has 2 outputs and 1 input (i think)

same problem here man. Just jacked up my car after getting a fuel filter from advance auto parts and it's a one input, one output. WTF!

BTW audi protien, ECS doesn't have it (at least I couldn't find it) and neither does the other two.

 

I'm trying to find out if there is a TSB that might help, seems like the input.output that is low on the top is for the return lines. Why do you need to filter the return???

I believe the 04 is around $60 bucks at dealer.
