Default Fuel gauge misreading

So I've taken a bit of time to read through many of the threads in the forum and found that there seems to be an issue with the fuel sending unit in the TT. My issue is similar inasmuch as I can fill my gas tank (which is what I always do) and there are many times now that it will measure just under 3/4 tank. I do a majority of my driving on the highway. I work out of town and commute about 100 mpd. I rarely drive in town due to the fact that I am putting on so many miles.

I have a 2002 A4 quattro 3.0 and I love it. I took her out of town many times traveling to Reno, Lake Tahoe, Los angeles.

So now that I have her I want to keep her well maintained. I fill the tank twice a week and only use premium shell. There have been a few times in which I've gone to 76 station.

Is it probable to believe it is also a fuel sending unit failure in this case?

Thanks in advance.

Ok, My bad. Seems as though my vehicle doesn't have a sending unit?
