Default Fuel Gauge Stuck

I've posted that I hit a curb last week: https://www.audiforums.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=126512

The mechanic did temporary repairs so I could drive my car while the new parts arrive from the dealer. But I just noticed that my gas gauge is stuck now. The gauge says that the gas is at full, and the digital display shows that I have 330 miles left. Now I tried to minimize the amount of driving I was doing and I did refuel my car the same day I hit the curb, but the digital display usually fluctuates every few miles I drive, it hasn't fluctuated yet. I'm concerned.

Try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes, then putting it back on. My gauge did that to me once, only the exact opposite. It said I had 5 miles to E when i had literally just put 15 gallons into the tank.

Seems like the solution was even simpler than that. I was thinking how me hitting the curb might have created a shock and got some sensor stuck, so today I decided it might need another shock to start working (not the brightest idea, I know :P ). My solution was trying a speed bump. Ironically, it started working afterwards. I'm not 100% sure it was the speed bump that did it, but within seconds it started fluctuating again while I drove.
