Default Need help with MAP sensor

Hi

I just noticed today while changing the driver side headlight light bulb that my MAP sensor (manifold absolute pressure sensor) was broken! I was thinking on buying it online and install it myself. Is there any DIY for that? or you can just let me know if is just unplugging the old one and taking out those 2 screws and swap for new one. Let me know! Thanks

Try Shokan Coachworks, Audi parts 1-800-All-Audi they're out near Albany and they are all Audi salvage parts. You might find what you need there.

The cap for the bulbs should have originally had a yellow warning sticker on it for HID. It's a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in it from what I recall

My alarm horn on my A4 Avant stopped working. Went to the dealer and a new cost $330 So I ordered one off of Ebay, got installed it same thing not working. So I opened up my horn and found that that batteries were bad leaking all over the place. Cleaned everything up tried to find some new batteries no luck. Found a site (Audi A4/B6 Alarm Siren - Replace NiMH Batteries | Audi-Sport.net) it's from England. It has a way to modify the battery pack. It tried done thing to make sure the horn and circuit board were still good. I plugged the horn back in without any batteries and it works. so some how the bad batteries are screwing thing up.
