Default Goes Up But Not Down

just got my windows tinted and now my front passenger window will not go down from the drivers side controls, it will only go up. It works fine on the passenger door control up and down. Could it be the tint or did something with the window regulator go?

I seriously doubt the tint has anything to do with it unless they used too much water, which I doubt with any reputable tinter. So the question is, when you push the button down does it try to go down or nothing happens? I have seen a lot of discussions about how the sunroof switch has contact issues, so maybe the window switch has similar or the water used to slide the film on the window got into the switch. If you are adventurous, you could take apart the switch and clean it with alcohol if it comes apart easy enough. I would not suspect that the motor has gone out if it will raise the window. Another point, it must have worked at some point after the tint was applied since you are stating it will only go up and not down. I know they leave the windows up when they tint and ask that you leave them up for a few days to let the water fully dry out and the adhesive to set good. if it worked after you let it sit for a few days, I would still be inclined to think it was in the switch.

Replace your master switch (the one on the driver's door)
