Default got a new exhaust, pics

Magnaflow 16600 system. It has been half a year since i've really done anything to my car so it has reinvigorated my love for the car. Let me know how you think it came out.

After taking some time to get the tips centered with zipties, i think i am pleased with the results now

Looks good, nice replacement for stock.

The important question here is, how does it sound and did you get any gains in performance?

i have the K&N drop in filter, and in addition to that i feel that it makes the car way less 'peaky' and smooths the power out. You just get the feeling that your car can finally breath. It has a really deep sound to it (think of some G35's and maybe a 350Z). It isn't obnoxious, and there isn't drone in the car tht is a annoyance.

edit: if i have time today i will do a video clip. i will get one up though, eventually

Man, mine's been sitting in my garage for like a month now waiting for a nice day to install. It is driving me nuts. scskim, were the tips hard to align? was it because the stock rubber hangers were worn? How long did it take you to do? I am planning on about 1.5 hrs to do it myself. Magnaflow FTW.

i paid a shop $85 to install and they just threw it on and weren't willing to allign the tips to my liking, so i just did it myself. Took the shop 30 mins to install with a lift and a saw to cut the oem exhaust to remove it, but it looks simple to do yourself. My car just hit 40k, so i doubt the hangers are worn. I just think that the exhaust was made with a little error room so it doesn't fit perfect. Used 175lb zipties and a friend, and that part was quick.
