Default guys i need help

ok i just got back from vegas. i drove my car its a 04 a4 1.8tq and on the way back my steering wheel satarted to shake. but its wierd only when i step on the gas it shakes but as soon as i take my foot off it stops and rides normal. i was thinking it could be my axel. has anyone else had this problem before. then when im parking my car in the garadge i turn my steering wheel and its not normal its making a wierd noise kinda like a grinding noise and it shakes alot. can someone please tell me whats going on with my car. and if it is the axel how much do u guys think it will cost if i go to the dealer? thanks

could be an axle, or wheel bearing too...
is there a way you can put your car on the lift?

ok so i just got home. i took my car in for the tire rotation and asked him if he can look at my axel and stuff. so he says everything is ok there is no leaks or anything, he even showed me too. he said all i needed was the rotation and a tire balance and now my car drives fine.
