HI all my first time on here so hello to all.
Anyway the issue I have is, have the A4 Quattro Avant 2004 and upon start up last night when keys were put into ignitionand tuned I had a continuous beeping noise comming from what seemed like the dashboard. This carries on when engine is engaged and only stops when keys are taken out of the ignition.
Have been told by one or two people this could be the back up battery for the alarm needs changing I have no idea.
Any Ideas chaps its driving me mental AGHHHH!

 

This could be a lot of things. You don't have any warning lights? Seatbelt maybe?

 

could be the seatbelt a door not closed your trunk open.

 

try it again, look at your dash and see if there is a warning light.... also make sure all your doors are closed and the like

this kind of reminds me of the blonde star add where she locked her keys in the car, but she was in there too...lol

Thanks all but a local lad up the road had a look for me and ten mins later problem gone.
Something had set the in car phone port off, so been has I dont use it he disconected it and presto silence JD.
