Default help with timing Belt

Im at 68,000 miles and was wondering if anyone in the Los Angeles area knows a shop where i can get a good deal on timing belt/water pump replacement.
All I've been quoted so far is 1,100 bucks.

Go to Regional Forums, this forum is well known to have a lot of people from Ca. THey will help u.

DIY!!!! took me four hours and a $250 kit from www.purems.com you might check how much cheaper it would be if you bring in your own stuff... some shops wont let u but it doesnt hurt to ask

im also looking for a shop and the cheapest one i found was in rancho cucamonga
its called genesis autosport the number is 909 945 3674
u can also take ur own parts.

I would say an average labor $$$ should be about $350.
