Hey everyone i usually join forums after getting frustrated with a problem so of course this times no different. Name is Gooch I'm from MA and have an 03 audi a4 1.8t quattro. i know people hate re-post's so i figured id ask here while introducing myself in case anyone know of any threads pertaining to this, my brake light stay's on and sometimes i can get it to turn of by tapping the pedal and im assuming this same problem is making my stability control light come on as it had happened a few times while the brake light was stuck on. and last and the most fun my audi seems to stop accelerating randomly feels like i took my foot of the gas pedal only i havent, its a 5 spd manual first standard ive had for more then a week and first car ive owned in years so any helpful hints or suggestions would be a great help

 

check the brake sensor behind the brake pedal itself........maybe,maybe not

 

have you checked your brake fluid?

 

Apparently all the issues where caused by the brake sensor thanks for the replies
