Im looking into getting HID's, i currently have the plain old stock halogen headlights. Ive searched all the threads/posts and have learned alot but im still a little confused. From what ive read it sounds like DDM tuning is the way to go. Im looking at these:

Here are the things im confused on:

1. Do i need or should i get a new headlight housing?

2. Which bulb type do i need to go with? (I have a 2005 A4 1.8T W/ stock halogens)

If i read correctly these will replace the low beams, do i need anything else other than this kit?

If i decide to replace the fog lights w/ hid's as well will i need the whole kit for those too or do i just need the bulbs?

plug and play. IT is recommended to replace the lens but isnt a must. I have hids in stock halegeon capsuls and they work just fine. The bubl should be a h7 and i would suggest getting the 55 watt for the low beams and if u plan on doing the fogs u can get the 35 watt kit. U will nee the whole kit for both being u need a ballast to support the bulbs. Isnt very hard just looks complicated with the wires.
