Good work. Night vision is much improved. I did highs/lows and fogs all @6k. The fogs I wished I would have stepped down a level to the 5k range because the fog-light housing makes them render a slightly ultral-violet tone more so than the highs or lows. I tried to correct for it by chorme plating the inside of the housing and it did increase the brightness to a literally ridiculous level however the uv tone is still slightly pronounced.
The Highs I love because I never use highs to pass (still can they fire right away and are at full potential in seconds) and I've spliced and indy vag'd my fogs so when highs are on I have highs lows and fogs illuminating the way. Bright is an understatement. It's fckin high-noon.

BTW, When first did mine I had condensation build up over a very humid night, so I coated the rubber grommet that you place through the access cover on the headlight assembly with some rubberized sealer and have not had any condensation in the headlamps since.

yea i silconed it up when i first installed it. I have silverstar bulbs for my high beams and there are freakin bright bright. A bud of mine has a acura tls with bixeon and my silverstars are bright then his highbeams. how hard was the install on the fogs? and where did u mount the ballast for the fogs?

Fogs are easier than the headlights. Torx bit and some patience. I mounted my ballasts with 3m double sided adhesive to the inside of my fenders.

The HID's in the high beams are usually avoided because on most cars with seperate lamps for Highs and Lows the low-beam is turned-off when the highbeam is turned on. The second or two that it takes the HID to heat up when its initially energized could be dangerous at night when you switch to the high-beams (once they've been heated I can flash just fine). Our cars do not disengage the low beams when the highs come on so that was irrelevant to me.

I thought about getting the silverstar's myself until I discovered they have a very short life. On top of that the silverstars simply increase the color of the light(higher on the kelvin K scale). The silverstars being a halogen lamp, limited by their design, still provide the same lumens (light output) as your standard halogen. Lumens is actual light output not color. HID's by design (electrical arcing and gas) put out 3 times the lumens of a halogen (electrical current through a filament) regardless of color scale rating.

woaah now chris sum big words there. i had purchased my silverstars when i bought my car about 2 half years ago. They still fire up like a champ. when i had them in my projectors they gave off a real light blue on cutoff but nothing compared to the hid. i just want the fogs done soon cuz no car in my city has them so it will be like wtf. But send me those pics when uget a chance no hurries here.
