Default How do you tell if your B6 has the Aero wiper system?

Hey guys,

My wife & I purchased her a 2003 3.0 Avant Quattro back in April. I *think* that the wipers are the original wiper arms that came with the car, but how do I confirm? I can't tell from looking at them if they're the Aero wipers or the older style that I've heard a bit about on here.

Would the dealer be able to tell if they were the Aero kit if I called and gave them the VIN?

I looked at both in stock, and the picture is an accurate representation of both choices. 7A is the aero blade, 7 is not. The 6 series arms differ based on the vin number and not if they fit aero wipers or not. 6B is with air vanes on the drivers side for 04 and older cars for example. I know you didn't ask about arms but I figured you'd want to know if the arms are different for aero wipers or not.

to me the easiest way to tell the difference is lift the wiper arm like when u clean the windshield. If the blades have a arc to them their are aero's If they are straight then they arent aeros.

Thanks guys, that info should do the trick. Based on the pic of 7A above, I do believe she has the aeros already. But I'll double check to see if they have an arc to them.

I appreciate the replies.
