Every 75-80k. You are on borrowed time. Get 'er done. PS - I also own a 2003 A4 3.0 MT6.

I've seen 80.000 mi. for the 3.0 B6 stated on several forums. However, my owners/service manual states 105,000 mi. Which is correct?

My A6 owner's manual also stated 105k. Conventional wisdom on many forums/posts recommends 75k (conservative) to 90k (about the safe limit). Of course, a timing belt or tensioner can fail at any time. But the minor savings of pushing the maintenance out to 105k is not worth the risk of destroying the engine. It is an interference engine, which means the valves and pistons occupy the same space -- at different times as long as the timing is correct.
