Id say go through with your plan to ditch the eyelids. Maybe get a new hood that doesnt have hoodclips and goes over the head lights to make them look less rectangular. (for example: )
I wouldn't do carbon fiber. From what i've seen only black audis can pull it off.

I like how you tinted the rear lights. I've been thinking about doing that, what did you use?

 

Thanks for your comment, I removed the eyelids already and Ive already bought the boser hood, pictures will be up soon. The tints Ive used are vinyl tint that are 35%, I just went to the tint shop and they only charged me 50 bux and it came out nice.

 

Ditched the EYElids and got myself a BOSER hood!!!! WHOOOHOO!! How's it look now...

 

Looks good. But dunno about these red things. I would think about chrome (s4 style) mirrors ))

 

IDK, maybe its just me but Ive never liked the hoods that cover part of the headlights like your CF hood. Might look cool in person but in pics, not my style. Other than that, amazing looking ride, love the tinted tails and "GTI trim", looks great against the grey. Get some exhaust man, Fill out the cut outs in your rear valence

 

I think it looks great. The Oettinger kit will make that hood shine.

 

where'd you get that red trim? that looks so nice, a little like a gli front end.
