Default Humming Noise from front end?

Just started about 4 days ago.

Similar to the sound of wheel bearings going bad.

I don't know too much about my A-4 1.8t (50k miles)

I’ve had the car for 9 months.

Has anybody experienced this? Any help would be much appreciated!

I used the search funciton but used the wrong words...

according to the "search" function, it is infact most likely is wheel bearings.

Anybody got a ballpark figure as to how much this costs?

I have a similar problem, however this noise did not exist until I had my front tires replaced and so new tires were put at the rear and the older rears where installed on the front. That leads me to believe it should have something to do with something other then wheel bearings. Otherwise how could it just appear right after wheel rotation.

Any ideas?
