Hey guys, I want to buy an Audi A4 turbo Quattro sedan and I have some questions. I figured where better to ask than an Audi forum.

First, how are Audi’s as far as reliability?
Also, how are the prices on Audi parts and how easy are they to get a hold of?

I’m sure some more questions will come to mind, but I’ll start it out with those main two.

if you maintain it well, reliability will be good, like any other car

any german car is expensive to maintain and repair. they use full syn oil, oil filters are $10, you cant usually go pick up an air filter at autozone or anything, a timing belt service (due 75-100k can run $600-1500 depending where you go. just a few examples but the payoff is worth it, they are very fun to drive and generally unique.

if you can DIY well, its not bad, ive replaced:
fuel pump: $250 w/ filter- dealer wanted $600
clutch:600 with all new hardware + beer, dealer wanted $1500
timing belt: $250- dealer wanted $1200
coilpacks $100 for hitachi E's that wont blow

a few other goodies i installed but i havent had any work done by anyone on it... the only thing that has broke is the fuel pump (my fault i didnt change the filter till it went out at 60k) everything is just upgrades and service

anytime, if you get one, find an ultrasport.. much better looking, i get at least 2 compliments a week, just yesterday some people took a picture of it, like it was a ferrari or something...
even with all my mods, i get 28-32mpg on the highway (if i drive easy)
